Osaragi

Doll-faced and of ordinary height, Osaragi carries a slim yet shapely build. Her black hair hangs straight and long to the small of her back, with shorter strands framing her face, and her uneven, fringe-shaded eyes shine a cool bluish grey, tinted red in the manga panels. She dresses as if headed to a funeral, in a deep blue dress whose sleeves are cut from brown floral mesh, a sheer veil laid over her head, and plain black footwear.

Osaragi acts like an oversized child, moving on impulse without weighing the cost, as when she halted to pray at a shrine while death-row killers stalked her. She is fond of matching people to animals, casting Sakamoto as a bear, say, or Dump as an echidna, and she keeps a flat, unbothered air even at deadly stakes, musing over snacks or forgotten bandages mid-fight. Blunt to a fault, she gladly foists blame onto Shishiba, then swings into pointless apologies for things beyond her doing. Food is a true passion, and she leans toward tradition and reverence, praying at shrines while cheerfully wrecking sacred statues when it serves her. After killing Dump she grew warier of hurting bystanders, striving to keep ordinary people clear of her violent world.

Reckoned among Japan's deadliest killers, Osaragi is a natural talent who came to assassination straight off a farm with no earlier ties to the trade. Her kills include Dump, an A-ranked murderer of over 180 people, the slippery Geisha, and X's Organization's dangerous Carolina Reaper, each cut down with brutal ease. Her hallmark tool is a collapsible buzzsaw stowed inside a plain suitcase; she swings it close in like a saw and, from range, whips it by its trailing cables like a flail to strike from odd angles or drag targets in. Even disarmed she kills by improvising, turning coins, statues, and shrine fixtures into weapons. Sheer speed lets her bisect a gang in a blink and parry an ambush with one coin, her deceptive strength shatters stone statues and heaves foes through rows of houses, and her durability leaves her all but numb to being impaled or stabbed.
