Chapter 126: I'll Kill You Later

Heisuke rushes in to back up Hyo, who wants none of it and orders him to stay clear. When Kumanomi lines up another coil-gun shot, Heisuke disrupts her, drawing a rebuke from Hyo for not going straight for a lethal headshot; a real killer, Hyo insists, is always prepared to finish the job. Heisuke rejects that creed, saying he simply wants to save his friend on his own terms.

Kumanomi unleashes a volley and is caught off guard when Heisuke bends his shots into precise ricochets. She lunges for him, but Hyo yanks him from harm's reach, and the pair's synchronized assault soon has her on the back foot. Her answer is Iron Sand, which swallows Heisuke's bullets, clouds his sight, and lets her knock him aside.

As Hyo trades blows with her up close, Heisuke loses his line of fire. He shuts his eyes, surrenders to instinct, and pulls the trigger. The round races toward Hyo, who slips aside at the last instant so it bores through Kumanomi's right shoulder. Hyo seizes the gap and floors her with a crushing punch.

Hyo and Heisuke find a rhythm as a duo, their combined pressure finally overwhelming Kumanomi's magnetic defenses. Heisuke's ricochet shooting and a blind, instinct-driven shot open her guard, and Hyo capitalizes to knock her flat. The clash also sharpens the gulf between Hyo's kill-first code and Heisuke's refusal to abandon a friend.

The chapter continues the Bangkok Arc within Volume 15 across nineteen pages, first published on July 10, 2023, in issue 32. Only Heisuke, Hyo, and Kumanomi appear, keeping the focus tight on their three-way struggle. Iron Sand surfaces here as Kumanomi's countermeasure against Heisuke's gunfire.
