Ahjin Guild Arc

Sitting fifteenth in the webtoon's run, this arc bridges the Recruitment Arc and the Double Dungeon Arc. Its hook is Jinwoo founding the Ahjin Guild as his own outfit and signing on, for a fee, to clear a top-grade A-Rank gate located on Knights Guild territory. While that contract is underway, an unrelated crisis erupts at the high school where his younger sister Jinah studies.

Events unfold on multiple fronts, reaching from the Hunter Bureau in the United States to the Busan Gate and on to the Ahjin Guild's debut A-Rank gate. In training bouts against Jinwoo's shadows, Cha Hae-In bests Igris but then falls to Beru. Beru afterward destroys the Arch Liches, and Jinwoo himself dispatches Groctar before slaying the Naga Boss. A broad supporting cast threads through it all: Sung Il-Hwan and Yoo Jinho turn up beside Sillad and Yogumunt, while Woo Jinchul, Cha Hae-In, and Yoo Soohyun share the stage with Norma Selner, the Jung trio of Yoontae and Yerim, plus Adam White, David Brennon, and Park Jongsoo. The beast roster spans Nagas and Orcs, the Groctar, Arch Liches, Death Knights, and Twin-Headed Ogres.

The arc yields big payoffs for Jinwoo and his fledgling guild. Cha Hae-In accepts an invitation into the Ahjin Guild, which at that point still went by the unofficial label of Solo Play Guild, and Jinwoo passes his Demon King's Longsword over to Igris. He reaches level 101, an achievement that levels up every one of his job-exclusive skills, and the guild wraps its very first raid. From the Naga Boss's remains he draws the shadow Jima into his army. The final note has the Tokyo S-Rank Gate emerging, teeing up the next stretch of the story.
