Overview

Third in the original Solo Leveling sequence, this stretch picks up from the Reawakening events and feeds into the Dungeon and Lizards storyline. It tracks roughly to chapters 13 through 16 of the novel, chapters 13 through 17 of the webtoon, and the third and fourth episodes of the anime. The setup is lean: an E-Rank instant dungeon opens to Jinwoo once a key falls into his hands, and for the very first time he steps inside with no one at his side.

Summary

Hapjeong Subway Station hides the dungeon, and its corridors throw a varied lineup of beasts at Jinwoo. Steel-Fanged Raikans, a Razor-Clawed Briga, a Black-Shadow Razan, a Stone Golem, and the Blue Venom-Fanged Kasaka all stand in his path. He scatters a pack of Raikans, then puts down Kasaka, the deadliest thing lurking below. Off to the side, an unnamed strike team flounders against a Stone Golem until Jinwoo steps in unseen to finish it.

Aftermath

The run leaves Jinwoo richer in title and loot. He earns the Wolf Slayer designation and pockets a Hearthstone for fast travel, while Kasaka yields both its venom and a fang; by the close he stands at level 18. The two versions diverge in minor touches. In the novel Jinwoo fishes a pen from his inventory when Choi Yoora passes him a notepad, Kasaka goes by Casaka, and Joohee, otherwise known as Lee Joohee, never battles the Stone Golem. The book alone names Lee Hansoo, a tank-class Hunter, as the one who faced that golem.
