Kamish was the dragon boss of the very first S-Rank Gate, a calamity who ravaged the American west coast and butchered nearly every S-Rank Hunter sent against him. Remembered as humanity's worst disaster, he later returned as one of Jinwoo's shadows.
In life Kamish was a gigantic red western dragon. Five gray horns crowned his head above a pair of glowing yellow eyes, his belly shaded a pale brown, and a long red tail trailed behind him like a whip. Once reborn as a shadow, his palette inverted into something darker: black scales, a black tail, horns and underbelly lit with an eerie purple glow.
Kamish carried a towering ego and a savage hunger to kill humans, a streak that surfaced the instant he was revived as a shadow and tried to scorch the bystanders with his breath. Yet for all his ferocity he could still be reasoned with, breaking off the attack the moment he learned the Rulers no longer held his leash. In his shadow form he proved loyal and courteous toward Jinwoo, speaking to him with honorifics and even wagging his tail in a comical show of affection when Jinwoo touched his nose.
Kamish began as a servant of Antares, King of Dragons and Monarch of Destruction. During the first war against the Rulers he was captured, and an essence stone was sealed within his body. Ages later, when the world's first S-Rank Gate tore open in America, he poured out of it and laid the entire west coast to waste, killing hundreds of S-Rank Hunters. Only the last five survivors, banding together, finally managed to bring him down.
His remains became a grim relic. The American government preserved the corpse exactly as it had fallen, and the Federal Bureau of Hunters later raised its headquarters over the body, storing it in an underground basement behind mana-reinforced glass. A rune stone recovered from inside him sat unused, since none of the National Level Hunters were mages. Thomas Andre, one of the five who killed him, kept the dragon's sharpest fang and had it forged into a pair of daggers known as Kamish's Wrath.
Roughly eight years on, during the International Guild Conference Arc, Jinwoo received permission from the FBH to view the corpse and managed to raise Kamish as a shadow, though the dragon's long death required two attempts. Newly reborn, Kamish spotted the humans behind Jinwoo and moved to breathe fire on them, until Jinwoo ordered him to stop and told him he was free of the Rulers. Calmed, the dragon bowed and admitted he had served Antares in life. His revived body soon began to fall apart, and before crumbling away entirely he warned Jinwoo that four humans known to him had been gifted power by the Rulers, then mourned that he would never get to fight at Jinwoo's side as a shadow soldier.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
