Kei is a Japanese S-Rank ice mage of the Draw Sword Guild whose extreme sensitivity to mana forces him to wear a mask at all times. Sent to Jeju Island for the fourth raid, he is cut down by the Ant King.
Youthful in build, Kei keeps his white hair cropped short above a pair of purple eyes set under thin brows. The most striking part of his look is the large metallic mask covering his nose and mouth, a necessity rather than a style choice, worn because his nose reacts so violently to the scent of mana.
That same hypersensitivity shapes how Kei behaves around others. The smell of so many hunters at once nauseates him, so he keeps to himself and stays quiet to avoid being sick inside his mask. A streak of shyness shows too; he chooses not to talk to Cha Hae-In specifically because he worries the others would read it as flirting. He also carries a competitive edge, openly musing to Ippei about whether he could beat Choi Jong-In in a fight.
Goto recognized Kei's talent, and he ranked strong even among S-Rank hunters. His defining trait is an acute Mana Smell, a sensitivity that mirrors Cha's but runs far more severe, leaving him reliant on a thick mask during raids. This same gift let him detect the Ant King instantly while Ippei sensed nothing. As an Ice Magic specialist, he froze multiple ant soldiers at once and raised a huge wall of ice for defense. Though not a close-combat fighter, his enhanced speed let him keep pace with Ippei, an assassin-type hunter, without difficulty.
Four days ahead of the fourth Jeju Island Raid, Kei joined the rest of the raid party at the Korean Hunters Gym. His nose kept him largely silent there; he warned Mari Ishida off speaking to him and avoided Cha for fear of seeming forward. When the spar between Goto and Jinwoo escalated, Kei threw up a wall of ice between them to end it before it spiraled out of control. During the raid itself he was paired with Ippei in Team Delta, and the two mowed down ants with ease until Team Charlie went silent. Goto sent them to investigate, and they found the group slaughtered and headless. Before they could relay a warning, Kei's nose caught the Ant King's presence and he vomited from the stench. Out of time to flee, he raised a massive ice wall, but the Ant King sliced through it and killed him with a single strike.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
