Appearance

Sirka bears the hallmarks of her ice elf kin, her skin tinted blue beneath white hair and light-colored eyes. Her dress was a pale blue parka, and a wooden bow hung slung across her back.

Personality

Like so many of her people, Sirka runs cruel, aggressive, and hungry for blood, yet she keeps a tender streak for those she counts among friends and family. The webtoon shows that softness as admiration for Cha Hae-In and for her late grandfather, paired with a quiet fear of the day Hae-In departs and her guidance vanishes.

History

When the Echo Forest's spirits once swept down on the ice elf village, Sirka and her people held out through endless waves over days and nights. Watching the elders drop one by one, she braced for her own death, only for a wyvern to descend bearing a human rider who asked to borrow a weapon. Without a thought she pressed her daggers into the stranger's hand, and that newcomer, Cha Hae-In atop Kaisel, drove back the spirits and spared the village. Hae-In lingered among the young elves afterward, becoming like family and at times schooling them in swordsmanship.

Later, after her tribe slaughtered a band of Hunters who had wandered into their land, Sirka held back from killing the final survivor so she could ask whether he knew of anyone named Sung Jinwoo. The language gap rendered the question meaningless, and with no answer forthcoming she killed him too. Within the Snow Folk Sanctuary she became a mark for spirits that had taken over once-High Elves, a fitting vessel given her ice elf blood and her role as Sillad's heir. Suho took her in hand, showing off his Giant's Armor along with the Iron Body Technique, and she picked up the Spirit Armor skill and set to crushing the spirits. Sillad came to truly recognize Suho as his priest and let him claim her as a companion. With each spirit she beat, her Ice Tree Spear thickened toward a hammer and her armor swelled into something she rode rather than wore.

Afterward, traversing the Sea of the Afterlife by way of the Elf's Footsteps skill, Sirka pressed on for the World Tree, set on taking the Primordial Darkness for herself while Suho stalled the Apostle of Nightmares. At the Tree she ran into Nidhogg, the six-headed serpent wound about its roots, and had to scale its thrashing body in a deadly climb. Through venomous breath and crushing blows she forced her way upward, marking the single head that gave off Sillad's power. As she rushed it, Beru appeared and held Nidhogg's jaws apart so she could spring inside and finish the ritual. The Apostle tried to break her with visions of her people frozen and dying, but she met the nightmare without flinching, drew the Primordial Darkness into herself, and woke fully as the Snow Folk's new king. Become the Nightmare Monarch, she named herself queen over the ice elves and loosed winter upon the World Tree, a fitting reversal of the cold that had once tormented her kind.

Numbered among the nine Monarchs as Queen of Snow Folk, Sirka wields immense power. Her Elf's Steps channels mana into her soles so she leaves not a single track across any ground. With Stealth she melds into her surroundings and wipes away every sign of her presence, going invisible in both body and magic. Through Spirit Armor she freezes the spirits nearby and bends them into armored shells two to three times her own size, and Spirit Cavalry brings those shells to life as ice golems that roam on their own without her within.
