Demon King's Daggers

Each blade is sizable and dark in hue, fitted with a brown grip and a crimson guard shaped to suggest the gaping mouth of a demon. The glow along the cutting edges shifts with whoever holds them: under Baran the edges burned a deep blood-red, while in Jinwoo's grip they shimmered a softer purple instead.

Holding both daggers raises the wielder's offensive output by 220 points, which placed them third among the weapons Jinwoo carried. A secondary trait called Two As One layers extra damage onto each blade, scaling that bonus off the user's strength rating.

Sharp as they are against most targets, the pair met real limits. They could only scrape the surface of the Statue of God without piercing it, and they failed entirely against Thomas Andre, whose skin they could not even break.

Baran wielded the daggers first, before Jinwoo claimed them from his remains and relied on them through much of his early rise. Despite their name suggesting a stabbing tool, they function far more like twin shortswords, used to slash rather than thrust. Jinwoo set them aside once Thomas Andre handed him Kamish's Wrath.
