Kim Sangshik's Sword

Belonging originally to Kim Sangshik, this large two handed steel blade was purchased before he set foot in the Cartenon Temple double dungeon. It carries an enchantment granting a flat boost to attack power and could be acquired through the in-story shop for three million won. The anime adaptation reshapes the weapon, rendering it as a single handed blade rather than the bulkier two handed version shown elsewhere.

Beyond cutting power, the sword supplies its bearer with a measurable rise in offensive strength. Once Sung Jinwoo collapsed while gripping it after obtaining the abilities of the Player, the weapon was absorbed straight into his System inventory, where it remained accessible to him during his early dungeon runs.

Kim Sangshik first wielded it, briefly brandishing the blade to coerce Song Chi-Yul into approaching the altar within the double dungeon, after a short appearance in a preceding D-rank dungeon. Jinwoo then claimed it and relied on it as his main armament throughout the Instant Dungeon Arc, using it to fend off the temple statues, slay beast type monsters, and finally to shatter a golem boss's shield after the blade had already snapped against the Blue Venom-Fanged Kasaka.
