Summary

Jin-Woo wakes in the hospital amazed to be alive, having slept and recovered for three days. Representatives of the Korean Hunters Association visit, and Woo Jinchul suspects a reawakening, requesting permission to measure his mana. The readings show Jin-Woo is still strikingly weak, barely registering as a hunter at all, which surprises even him. He then notices that the officials cannot see the floating monitor before him and that his body is fully healed, including the leg he lost in the temple dungeon.

Unsure whether the screen is real or a leftover of delirium, Jin-Woo wonders whether others can perceive it or whether it responds to touch, only to be interrupted by his sister Sung Jinah's sudden arrival. With his attention divided, he confirms that the monitor is visible to him alone and figures out how to read messages from the System.

He discovers an email assigning a Daily Quest called Becoming Stronger. After Jinah leaves, further messages help him grasp that the System rewards or penalizes him based on whether he completes its quests, all aimed at his growth. The daily quest turns out to be a prescribed exercise routine carrying a warning of punishment for failure. Choosing to ignore it and return to bed, Jin-Woo is suddenly whisked into a so-called penalty zone, tasked with lasting four hours amid dangerous roaming creatures.
