Summary

Worn out by the Job Change Quest, Jinwoo collapses onto his bed, the dull ache in his muscles a pleasing proof of his progress, and he is nearly asleep when his phone breaks the quiet of his dim room. Rest loses to obligation, so he visits a local bank to look over his account. Payouts from dungeons and quests have lifted his balance to numbers he never thought possible only weeks before. With cash to spare, he decides to put some aside for Jinah and consider buying himself clothes, his old ones no longer fitting his reshaped frame.

Key Events

During the guardian-teacher meeting, the teacher first compliments Jinah's grades, then raises a delicate question about the chance of his sister awakening into a hunter someday. Pressed for his stance, Jinwoo states flatly that even if she did awaken he would never permit Jinah to walk that path, holding her safety above everything. The discussion moves to Jinah's friend Song-Yi, whose hunter prospects have stirred concern, and the teacher asks Jinwoo for his perspective. Afterward he encounters Song-Yi, a classmate of his sister and the E-Rank hunter that he, together with Jinho, had recruited earlier. Piecing together that he is Jinah's brother, she insists she will not abandon hunting despite their earlier warnings. Respecting her determination, Jinwoo nods and asks her to accompany him somewhere.
