History
The killing of an elderly neighbor, Satou, by a ghoul was the event that steered his son toward a career hunting them. He kept up ordinary routines, and when Seidou paid a rare visit home, Michie mentioned he had slipped away for a round of golf.
After Aogiri Tree abducted his son, both he and his wife were murdered. Their bodies were prepared and served without his son's knowledge by Akihiro Kanou, who then disclosed what Seidou had eaten, a cruelty that helped shatter the young man's mind.
