Rotten Follow ranks among the S-rated quinques of the series, a rinkaku weapon molded into the silhouette of a massive chainsaw. Rather than relying on a conventional edge, it seats a kakuhou at its core to act as the driving motor while lengths of quinque ore form the cutting teeth. The armament first surfaced through promotional footage tied to a spin-off game.

In combat the weapon proves brutally efficient, its whirling ore teeth tearing through opponents with little resistance. Accounts credit it with lopping heads clean off and carving bodies fully apart, marking it as a tool engineered for swift, decisive kills rather than any measure of finesse.

Investigator Shiki Kijima originally carried the chainsaw, which had been fashioned from the kakuhou of a ghoul known only as the brother of Rio. Ownership later shifted to Kichimura Washuu, who claimed the weapon once he had slain Matsumae. Its earliest showing arrived within the release of the game spin-off Tokyo Ghoul: Jail.
