Summary

Ayato Kirishima blocks Touka Kirishima on the stairwell and asks whether she has come for the boy with the eyepatch. When she confirms it, he reveals that Kaneki is with a torture-obsessed ghoul named Yamori and insists the boy is already dead. The taunt sends Touka into a fury, and the siblings clash. Ayato blasts her through a door with his kagune shards and out onto the roof, ordering his subordinates to finish Nishiki Nishio before he follows.

Yamori, still sprawled and gravely wounded, whimpers for his mother when Juuzou Suzuya happens upon him. Their brief exchange ends with Yamori lashing out, and Suzuya seizes the opening to stab and ruin his face. Once done, he hauls the body off toward Yukinori Shinohara.

The Commission of Counter Ghoul continues its advance, having secured the first and second buildings and nearing the end of the third. As the investigators chase down the remaining ghouls, they come face to face with the One-Eyed Owl.
