Chapter 131 pairs quiet dread with a life-changing reveal. Kaneki learns from Nishiki that his own healing is aging him toward death, faces a fanatic prisoner, and finally hears Touka's news that she is pregnant. The two seal their bond with matching bite marks.
A pair of ghoul children go looking for Touka Kirishima, hoping for a bedtime story, and Kaneki helps them track her down. Watching her read to them settles his worries about how she is coping. He then visits the caged Hajime Hazuki, a young man giddy at meeting him in the flesh, who claims ignorance of what Mutsuki's letter contained. Turning over how he might rescue Yoriko, Kaneki laughs off Hazuki calling him a miracle, insisting he is only an ordinary man.
Nishiki Nishio lays out an unsettling theory. Every cell division shortens the telomeres that govern aging, so the more Kaneki spends his kagune and mends his injuries, the faster he grows old. The black tears he has begun weeping are one sign. Nishiki floats the possible remedies, sparing his kagune, avoiding grave wounds, or resorting to cannibalism. Left alone, Kaneki weighs how little time may remain and resolves to do everything he can.
Far below the surface, Ayato Kirishima fends off and captures three feral ghoul children, and through their tangled dialect he gathers that something called the Naagaraji left the city in ruins. When Kaneki finally tries to break the news of Yoriko's execution to Touka, she stops him with an announcement of her own. She is expecting, with the birth due in December. He asks how ghouls even marry, and to prove they are joined as one, the two bite into each other.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
