:re Chapter 141

Bristling with embedded blades, Renji Yomo weaves clear of Tooru Mutsuki's swinging kagune before slipping off the piping, though he arrests his own fall with his kagune. Mutsuki tracks him down, praises his skill, and asks for any final words. Yomo admits he has only been buying time, and a jolt from his lightning kagune surges through the standing water and leaves Mutsuki scorched. As Yomo rises, an enraged Shinsanpei Aura charges him, only to have his neck wrenched around. Yomo lets the body drop and sets off to find Hinami and Touka.

Elsewhere, Hinami Fueguchi seals off the investigators' routes to give the fleeing ghouls a chance to slip away. The officers recognize her as a onetime Aogiri fighter and begin evading her strikes, yet many still fall to her kagune before Touka Kirishima joins the effort. Furuta arrives flanked by Juuzou Suzuya and his squad, mocking the pair as the fight erupts. Suzuya swats aside her scattered shards while Touka weathers a storm of thrown knives and parries Hanbee Abara's blade. Seeing Hinami faltering, Touka rushes to help, but she is soon boxed in and scatters kagune in every direction. Suzuya suddenly bears down on Hinami with startling speed and rakes a brutal wound across her stomach.

Yomo defeats Mutsuki by electrifying the water around them, then kills Aura by snapping his neck. Hinami and Touka fight to keep the CCG from cutting off the ghouls' escape. Suzuya breaks past their defense and lands a devastating slash to Hinami's abdomen.

This nineteen-page chapter ran in issue 2017-43 on September 21, 2017 and belongs to the thirteenth volume of Tokyo Ghoul:re. The Japanese title, 染みはたる, is read as Shimi wa taru.
