:re Chapter 160

In the streets of Tokyo the CCG holds off the kagune monsters Dragon has spawned while Marude watches the beast with grim resolve. Its seventy-two hour lull has expired and every one of its eyes has now opened fully. Elsewhere Touka keeps searching for Kaneki's body, unleashing her kagune to rain projectiles over the ground around her. Hearing sounds from within one of the wounds she has torn, she starts clawing into it with bare hands, breaking her fingernails, until she uncovers the ring she once gave Kaneki, clutched by an inhuman arm studded with eyes.

Horrified yet set on saving her husband, Touka keeps digging, only to be set upon by Dragon's monsters, now far more warped than before and covered in an array of mouths and eyes. Overwhelmed, she is flung across Dragon's body, and as she struggles up, wounded and spent, a massive many-armed kagune creature looms behind her. Before it can strike, it is torn apart by the combined attacks of Mutsuki, Urie, and Saiko, who form a protective line around her. Mutsuki spares her only a brief look and does nothing more. With the Quinx guarding her, Touka resumes tearing through Dragon's flesh and at last exposes Kaneki's body.

The Japanese title Ki is given in English as Mourning. Published on February 15, 2018 in Issue 2018-11 as part of Volume 15, the chapter reaches the long-sought moment when Kaneki's body is finally located inside Dragon.
