C is the forty-sixth chapter of Tokyo Ghoul:re. Mirumo falls into the CCG's hands, Shuu is driven to a hidden family stronghold and shown the good his father did, and Eto unleashes Noro as the extermination begins.
Summary
Koori Ui takes Mirumo Tsukiyama into custody, and the investigators argue over whether the operation has actually concluded. Studying the tire marks left behind, Ui orders First Class Hairu Ihei to press forward while the rest of his squad pursues the remaining Tsukiyamas. Turning over the likely scenarios in his mind, Matsuri asks which nearby building the family owns.
As Matsumae drives Shuu away, he laments that his father chose to sacrifice himself and orders her to turn back. She will not, telling him that his survival is what keeps the family alive, and reveals that they are bound for the Luna Eclipse building in the 8th Ward. On arrival, Shuu is presented to a gathering of company executives who are delighted to meet him, and he learns that his father was a generous man who had aided every one of them.
Hairu leads the CCG into Luna Eclipse to begin the purge, the Quinx Squad trailing after them, while Matsuri sets up an ambush aimed at Shuu's helicopter. The moment the operation kicks off, Eto dispatches Noro into the building.
