The seventieth chapter of Tokyo Ghoul:re pits Haise and Hinami against Furuta in the escape, while Yomo faces Arima and remembers his sister Hikari, ending with Yomo taking a Narukami strike meant for Touka.
Furuta blocks the path of Haise Sasaki and Hinami Fueguchi, sneering that his role obliges him to try stopping them. He unleashes Rotten Follow and lashes out at Haise, who kicks the weapon from his grip, only for Furuta to snatch it back out of the air. As Furuta seizes the quinque and moves to strike, Haise slams him into the wall hard enough to knock a tooth loose, which Furuta mockingly presses back into place. Hinami then drives her kagune into his back and drops him, letting the pair keep running.
Elsewhere, Ayato Kirishima, Touka Kirishima, and Renji Yomo clash with a squad of hooded investigators. Just as Ayato insists they push on to the control room, Kishou Arima looses Narukami. The fight stirs a memory in Yomo of his sister Hikari Kirishima, who had fallen for someone, become pregnant, and chosen to marry the child's father. Seeing straight through her brother's gruff front, Hikari reminded him that through parenthood, aging, and even death she would always remain his sister, and months afterward she brought the newborn Touka to meet him.
Back in the present, Touka steps in front of Yomo, but he shoves her aside and takes Narukami's strike to the neck himself.
Haise and Hinami fight off Furuta, with Hinami knocking him unconscious so the two can continue fleeing. Ayato, Touka, and Yomo run into Arima and his hooded investigators on the way to the control room. A flashback establishes Yomo's bond with his sister Hikari, Touka's mother. Yomo pushes Touka clear of Narukami and is stabbed through the neck in her place.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....

Haise Sasaki slams Furuta into a wall hard enough to knock a tooth loose, and Hinami Fueguchi then drives her kagune into his back, knocking him out so the pair can keep running.
