The ninety-third chapter of Tokyo Ghoul:re, titled F's Lie, revives Naki against Koori Ui and reveals through flashback how Akihiro Kanou manipulated the Yasuhisa twins into becoming his ghoulification subjects.
Koori Ui closes on Miza Kusakari and urges her to surrender and take her own life, since death looks certain. Miza refuses, vowing to fight to her final breath and finding comfort in dying beside Naki. As she braces for the blow, Naki appears in front of her to block it, remarking that her kagune could never have shielded her and that he was simply resting. Hooguro, Shousei Idera, and a group of White Suits arrive to back him up, and Naki boasts that he will not fall until he does something worthy of impressing Yakumo Oomori in death before cracking his knuckles.
In Kanou's laboratory, the released Quinx pursue Kurona Yasuhisa, who slashes at them but worries about tiring against their numbers. Okahira seizes her from behind, apologizes that it is nothing personal, and snaps her neck, yet Kurona wriggles free and her head knits back together. Perched near the ceiling, she declares that she knows Kanou's true identity.
A flashback returns to Kurona's days at the academy's junior school, where she and her twin first met Kanou. He claimed the CCG had murdered their parents, and to prove it he led the girls into an underground facility running ghoulification experiments that he had helped conduct. The Yasuhisa family, buried in debt, had let the CCG clear it in exchange for using their mansion as the research site. When Nanao Yasuhisa recoiled at the unethical work and tried to expose it, he and his wife were killed. Kanou spurred the twins to finish the ghoulification research as a way to honor their parents' legacy, and later Kurona visited his office lined with mounted insects, including a hybrid scorpion butterfly, where he eagerly asked to see her newly formed kagune.
Kurona brands Kanou a mad scientist, and he mocks her in return. A kagune abruptly coils around him as Nishiki Nishio steps out, a face Kanou knows at once. Elsewhere, Taishi Fura, Kuramoto Itou, and Takeomi Kuroiwa are ordered to mass against the ghouls, and Miza proposes that she and Naki stand together just as Shuu Tsukiyama and two hooded companions arrive and offer their aid.
Naki survives and shields Miza from Koori Ui, joined by Hooguro, Shousei Idera, and the White Suits. Kurona escapes Okahira's neck-snap and confronts Kanou. A flashback reveals how Kanou lured the Yasuhisa twins with the truth about their parents' CCG-linked deaths and drew them into his ghoulification project. Nishiki Nishio ambushes Kanou in the present, and Shuu Tsukiyama arrives with two hooded allies to reinforce the ghouls.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
