Xenotime and Zeolite

The two are male humanoid figures sheathed head to toe in a single garment that leaves only their faces and hands bare. They are near-identical, told apart only by their patterns: Xenotime wears a black-and-white checkerboard while Zeolite's is grey-and-white. Both have pale skin, long-nailed hands, and prominent collarbones. Golden hair frames their faces with a pair of strands falling at the sides, gathered behind into pink ponytails that curve gently down to the waist. Their features look unsettling and noseless, each stamped on the forehead with the same dot borne by other members of the circus.

When CereCere realizes that Minako has lost the power to transform, the Amazoness Quartet dispatch Xenotime and Zeolite to spring a trap on her at the circus. A disguised Xenotime hands her a business card inviting her to an idol contest, and though she sees through the ruse, Minako attends to prove herself as leader of the Inner Guardians, finding a crowd of other young women there. Zeolite lays out the prize awaiting the first to scale a tower topped with helpless children, and the contestants soon turn on one another as Lemures overtake them.

After JunJun pelts Minako with boulders and Super Sailor Jupiter arrives with Mercury and Mars to save her, Minako fails again to transform and presses toward the tower alone, while Zeolite pins the other guardians to a tree and holds them off with threats and Lemures. At the summit the children prove to be Lemures as well, and Xenotime nails Minako to the floor with knives while the twins try to brainwash her into their ranks. VesVes and PallaPalla move to stop Artemis from reaching her, but he assumes a human shape for the first time and returns her Venus Crystal. With her power restored, Minako rises as a Super Sailor Senshi and destroys the pair using Venus Love and Beauty Shock and her new Whip of Love. The Crystal adaptation reworks several details, trimming their dialogue, adding a ladder to the tower, and shifting when the Amazoness Quartet abandon them.

The twins fight with thrown blades and summoned Lemures, though neither wields any named technique. Their knife work is remarkable: each can loose dozens of daggers in a single volley, and where Xenotime pins Minako flat against a metal floor, Zeolite skewers Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Jupiter to a tree all at once. For all that precision, they deliberately avoid wounding the Inner Guardians, since their goal is to brainwash them rather than kill them. That restraint costs them; by the time their plan collapses and Super Sailor Venus stands ready, she slips their blades and finishes them quickly.
