Kurozumi Tama holds a Paramecia power whose name plays on kibi, the Japanese word for millet. Ringing her thumb and forefinger together and pinching a cheek, she shapes small round sweets patterned after the millet dumplings of legend. Any creature that eats one falls wholly under her direction, defending her and following orders without pause. Her face suffers no injury from the act, and since she is the only person able to make the confections, no one can wrest them away against her will.

Functioning somewhat like a mild command over the mind, the dumplings leave a target's memories and personality untouched while instilling total loyalty, so the maker's welfare and instructions outrank even the eater's own life. Regular humans resist, yet anyone bearing a functional SMILE fruit becomes susceptible because of the partial animal trait those fruits confer. Tamed beasts turn into her retainers, and tamed people call her Master. Each dumpling holds for a month and keeps working even if she falls unconscious, lasting until the time expires and the creature is free to remain or leave.

Its limits are worth noting. The treats supply no nutrition, so they will not quiet hunger, and producing a big batch in a short window saps her endurance. Natural Zoan users shrug them off entirely, and she has to speak a direct command, since a target left uninstructed simply carries on as usual. The standard seawater and Haki vulnerabilities apply on top of that.

Tama first leaned on the fruit to win over wild animals like the baboon Hihimaru, which led Tenguyama Hitetsu to caution her against using it before onlookers, a warning undone once Holed'em's underlings spotted her. Guided by Luffy, she realized the dumplings could also subdue the Beasts Pirates' SMILE-carrying Gifters, making her indispensable within that rebel coalition known as Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance. Gifters she had won over, including Speed along with Gazelleman and Daifugo, slipped the treats to unwitting crewmates, while taming warden Babanuki let her hide the Prisoner Mine revolt from Queen. Usopp even fired the dumplings from his slingshot straight into enemies' mouths.
