Ballooning one's own mass by staggering amounts, tallied in metric tonnes, is what this Paramecia power grants, marking its user as a Super Weight Human. Its name derives from the Japanese reading of ton, the weight unit. Machvise, formerly a combatant of the Donquixote Family, ate it. Audiences saw its effects during the Dressrosa conflict, yet the fruit stayed nameless until an SBS column revealed its identity.

Heaping on weight lets the wielder land crushing impacts that split the ground and even fracture the bones of giants. This power ranks above the Kiro Kiro no Mi, for while both revolve around body mass, this one soars far beyond that fruit's cap of ten thousand kilograms, its shown weights spanning ten tonnes up to ten thousand tonnes and supplemented further by clutching heavy gear. Even so, the user can still hover through the air almost as though weightless.

The limits run deep. Whereas its lighter-weight cousin the Kiro Kiro no Mi lets its user shed mass, this power offers no way to drop below normal weight, it accomplishes nothing against a foe who can bear the chosen load, and the descent cannot be steered, so anyone quick enough merely sidesteps it. A miss means slamming unshielded into hard ground, which once left Machvise groaning over a stomachache after he flopped belly-first, prompting him to carry a shield. Above all, since every technique is a crushing blow, none of it touches a rubber-bodied Gomu Gomu no Mi user, and the standard fruit weaknesses remain.

Machvise fights much as a Kiro Kiro no Mi user would, drifting into position over a target before plunging down, frequently onto a shield to spare his own body the blow. His signature Jutton Vise drops ten tonnes from overhead, blanketing a wide zone thanks to his bulk, though Luffy's rubber legs shrugged it off and Boo became the first to actually be flattened by it.

The scale climbs from there. Hakai no Senton Vise amplifies the force a hundredfold with the shield's aid, and Jigoku no Manton Vise reaches ten thousand tonnes, potent enough to snap the forearm and leg bones of Hajrudin and crater the ground below him, although the giant's Gungnir eventually drove him back into the Birdcage's strings. A non-canon Hyakuton Vise slots in between at a hundred tonnes, used to cripple Hajrudin's arm.
