The biggest question mark of the weekend is
AGE 1000, the new game project Bandai Namco announced back at Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri in late January 2026. Everyone got a teaser trailer and a promise that more was coming at Battle Hour. This is the moment that more shows up.
What We Know Going In
Bandai Namco has described
AGE 1000 as a brand-new Dragon Ball world shaped by
Akira Toriyama, with original characters and a never-before-seen lead designed by Toriyama himself. Release is targeted for 2027. Beyond that, nothing official about genre, platforms, or story scope has been confirmed. Fans online have been guessing for months that this could be the spiritual follow-up to
Xenoverse, but Bandai Namco has deliberately kept the lid on it so the Battle Hour Times segment at 1:35 PM PDT has real fireworks.
The Other Announcements To Watch
Battle Hour Times is also where
Sparking! ZERO,
Xenoverse 2,
Dokkan Battle,
Legends, and
Gekishin Squadra get their spotlight slots.
Sparking! ZERO is still riding the wave of the Hero of Justice DLC pack that landed on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in February 2026, so fresh content for later in the year is almost certainly teased here.
Gekishin Squadra is the newcomer on the Battle Hour stage, and putting its producer on Day One signals Bandai Namco wants this smartphone title taken seriously alongside the console heavy hitters.
