Grice family

The Grices are an Eldian family of Liberio living under Marleyan authority. Their standing collapses when Grice is unmasked as one of the Eldian Restorationists; Marley punishes such households collectively, so Colt enlists in the military to prove the family's innocence, and his younger brother Falco follows for the same reason. Colt's confirmation as successor to the Beast Titan restores the household's peace, while Falco, a candidate for the Armored Titan, instead ends up the final inheritor of the Jaw.

Grice himself is shipped to Paradis Island after Zeke Yeager informs on the Restorationists. Denied even the mercy of titanization, he is left in human form to be run down by his transformed comrades, and his fate shadows the brothers for years.

At Fort Slava a head wound leaves Falco dazed on the battlefield until Colt hauls him to safety. Back home, Falco unwittingly runs letters for a disguised Eren Yeager while Colt trains for the Beast inheritance and sits in on the Warriors' planning sessions. Willy Tybur's festival turns Liberio into a battlefield; Colt drags Gabi clear of the panic but cannot save Udo or Zofia, and soon afterward Gabi and Falco slip aboard the enemy airship and vanish toward Paradis.

Marley's counterstrike on Shiganshina brings the family's blackest hour. Colt discovers that wine laced with Zeke's spinal fluid has already passed Falco's lips, carries his brother toward the front, and begs Zeke to hold his scream. Zeke apologizes and roars anyway. Falco becomes a Pure Titan, the heat of the transformation kills Colt where he stands, and the dying Porco Galliard offers himself to Falco's Titan, passing on the Jaw. Connie Springer then abducts the unconscious boy, intending to feed him to his own titanized mother at Ragako, and only Armin's attempt to sacrifice himself instead forces Connie to relent.

Falco grows into the inheritance while fighting beside the alliance against Eren. His first deliberate transformation routs the Yeagerists at the harbor before he loses control and must be cut from the nape by Magath. Drawing on an inherited memory of a Beast Titan that could fly, he manifests a winged form, carries Annie and Gabi to Fort Salta in time to snatch five allies from a Titan horde, and shuttles the attackers around Eren's colossal body, finally delivering Mikasa and Levi to the strike that ends him. The brothers' parents, fleeing Liberio by train, live to embrace Falco at the fort; when the power of the Titans dies with Eren, every transformed Eldian returns to human form. In the years after, Falco and Gabi care for the crippled Levi, and the two eventually marry.

Falco Grice survives the war as the final Jaw Titan. Colt Grice dies at Shiganshina before he can formally receive the Beast. Grice, the Restorationist whose exposure set everything in motion, perishes on Paradis Island, and the brothers' parents outlast the Rumbling. Gabi Braun joins the family through her marriage to Falco.
