Summary

Shadowy entities cry out for sacrifice over and over as they close in on Guts. Serpico and Isidro spot the creatures and recognize them from their ordeal in Albion. The Skull Knight materializes to explain that a piercing light has cracked open Skellig, freeing the ancient owners who once upheld the island, and he urges everyone to run, since no human can stand against them. Isidro ignores the warning and fights back anyway.

Aboard the Seahorse, Roderick hears from the merrows of the catastrophe striking Skellig and orders his crew to ready their departure. A drunken Magnifico insists on remaining, convinced humans should settle the island, so the sailors haul him aboard against his will.
