Mechanics

Amagai gathers flame into the hooked crook of his weapon and, with a forward swing, sends sizable spheres of fire streaking toward a target, striking with enough force to answer even the ice Shikai of Hyōrinmaru. Once he draws on his Bankai, Raika Gōen Kaku, he can conjure a far larger blaze capable of flooring Ichigo, and he can also whip his blade overhead to loose a rapid volley of smaller fireballs that pin an opponent into dodging.
