Harunobu Ogidō

White gloves and the strap of a medical relief pack slung over the standard division robes set Harunobu apart at a glance. His hair is a dark brown, his eyes brown to match. Without ever noticing it himself, he draws steady admiration from the Soul Society's female Shinigami, who find his effortless handsomeness appealing.

Diligent by nature, Harunobu spends much of his time marshaling the First Relief squad through the Seireitei. His working relationship with Yasochika Iemura runs prickly; their mutual irritation once escalated far enough that Iemura unsheathed his sword. Romantic attention follows him everywhere, and the bulk of the Fourth Division's incoming mail is addressed to him by women across the realm. He also belongs to the Shinigami Men's Association.

As a senior figure in the medical division, Harunobu is an accomplished healer, ranked directly beneath Hanatarō Yamada, though how closely his skill actually matches Hanatarō's remains unclear. His post also demands a working command of Kidō and spiritual power befitting an eighth seat, and he displayed surprising physical strength when he caught and halted Iemura's drawn blade with his bare hands. He joined the relief effort at Sōkyoku Hill following Sōsuke Aizen's betrayal, and in the anime-only Zanpakutō rebellion he tended wounded officers on Unohana's orders.
