Quincy: Letzt Stil

When Uryū Ishida enters this state, his ordinary Quincy attire hardens into something built for battle. Silver plating wraps his left side and arm, marked with the familiar blue Quincy cross, while rows of parallel blue lines run down the white fabric. The Sanrei Glove's bow splits away to rest in his hand, and a blue, flame-shaped mass of pure Reiryoku rises at his right shoulder, drinking Reishi from all around and stockpiling it for him.

The Wandenreich dismiss Letzt Stil as a relic, a notion they say died out around two centuries back because of how fragile it is, and they built Vollständig expressly to replace it. Quilge Opie observes that only Sōken Ishida clung to the old form, the man who turned his back on the Quincy's later evolution. For all its might, the technique is a double-edged blade, kept in reserve only as a final option because no human frame can safely bear what it grants.

Letzt Stil comes from removing the Sanrei Glove, which lets a Quincy draw in Reishi far past their normal ceiling. In the state, the user overwhelms an average captain through sheer strength and speed. They gain complete command of Reishi, able to break down and absorb the very structures of Soul Society, and their arrows grow noticeably denser and deadlier: a single charged shot sliced Mayuri Kurotsuchi's released Zanpakutō apart and punched clean through his chest. A towering blue aura of raised Reiatsu surrounds them, and their Hirenkyaku quickens to a blur. The cost is severe. After a short burst, the body forcibly severs its own link to all spiritual power to survive, stripping the Quincy of their gifts, and though those powers can be reclaimed, the recovery is perilous.
