The fortieth Thousand-Year Blood War episode and 406th of the anime overall. Cornered into proving his loyalty, Uryū Ishida finally lets his true plan surface, revealing why he wears the Wandenreich's colors and what he intends to do to Yhwach.
Inside Wahrwelt's main castle, Haschwalth confronts Ichigo, Orihime, and Sado, commanding Uryū to cut them down to prove he is no traitor and baring the triple-pupiled eyes of The Almighty to warn that he can read the future. Uryū attacks, and as he and Ichigo clash, flashbacks unfold his motive: his grandfather Sōken's journal exposed Yhwach as a tyrant who drained fellow Quincy through Auswählen, an event that felled a young Uryū in 1994 and hardened his resolve to stop the emperor on his pride as a Quincy.
The duel ranges across the crumbling fortress, Ichigo carving a horizontal gash through the castle with Getsuga Tenshō before slamming Uryū into a pit. Elsewhere the zombified Bambies march on Yhwach's throne, Yoruichi blinds and hurls Askin while carrying her wounded brother, a giant Gerard is met by the Visored as he menaces Momo, and the golden bird-shaped remnants of Lille Barro rain onto the Seireitei, where a wounded Izuru returns to cut them down. A schoolyard memory shows Uryū admitting he abandoned his ambition to be a doctor after seeing Ryūken dissect his own dead wife.
Regrouping below, Uryū produces a Sun Key, points Ichigo and the others toward a gate home, and states that only he, heir to Sōken and Katagiri's blood, can end Yhwach. He reveals that Haschwalth borrows The Almighty while Yhwach sleeps, meaning the emperor is currently vulnerable, and sends Ichigo racing off. Facing Haschwalth alone, Uryū notes that his foe never foresaw a man filled with hope, proving The Almighty is not truly all-seeing. Isshin and Ryūken slip into Wahrwelt through an old Sun gate, while Yhwach, awake all along, casually slaughters the Bambies and floods his throne room with Reiatsu.
Uryū's infiltration of the Wandenreich is exposed as a plan to destroy Yhwach and Wahrwelt. Sōken's journal and the 1994 Auswählen are shown as the roots of his resolve. Uryū reveals that Haschwalth wields The Almighty in Yhwach's stead during his sleep, and hands Ichigo a Sun Key to reach the throne. Isshin and Ryūken enter Wahrwelt through a Gate of the Sun. Uryū begins his battle against Haschwalth, and Yhwach dispatches the Bambies.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
