The Visible Answer

Within Wahrwelt, Jugram Haschwalth confronts Uryu Ishida before the Gate of the Sun, revealing that he now wields The Almighty while Yhwach sleeps and pressing Uryu about his hidden agenda. Outside, the Shinigami reach the castle only for Gerard Valkyrie to crash down and bar their way. A healed Renji Abarai, saved and mended by the Visored, restrains Gerard, and Byakuya Kuchiki savagely cuts the Sternritter down with Senbonzakura to deny him any miracle.

On a nearby rooftop, Askin Nakk Le Vaar incapacitates Ichigo, then poisons him, Orihime, and Sado with Gift Bad by lowering their tolerance to Reishi. Yoruichi Shihoin intervenes, activating her strengthened Shunko and blasting Askin with Raijin Senkei, while Orihime heals the group so they can press on. As the Three Worlds begin to tremble, Yoruichi sends Ichigo ahead and stays to confirm Askin's death, only for Yushiro Shihoin to join her and pummel the recovering Askin.

Gerard, however, converts his wounds into Godly Size through The Miracle, growing gigantic and shrugging off a coordinated assault from Shinji, Hinamori, Byakuya, and Sui-Feng before scattering them with a single breath. Askin then reveals that absorbing Yushiro's Reiatsu has made him immune to it and fires three arrows through Yushiro's chest. Meanwhile, Haschwalth blasts Uryu through a wall to test him, and Uryu suddenly finds himself standing before Ichigo, as Isshin Kurosaki seeks out Ryuken Ishida in the Human World.

Haschwalth reveals he holds The Almighty while Yhwach sleeps and challenges Uryu to prove he is not a traitor. Renji, healed by the Visored, rejoins the fight against Gerard, whom Byakuya brutally cuts down. Askin poisons Ichigo, Orihime, and Sado using Gift Bad. Yoruichi and later Yushiro battle Askin, who becomes immune to Yushiro's Reiatsu and shoots him. Gerard grows to Godly Size via The Miracle and overpowers the assembled Shinigami. Uryu is thrown before Ichigo, and Isshin finds Ryuken in a graveyard.

The episode adapts material from numerous late chapters of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, airing as its thirty-ninth part and the four hundred fifth episode overall, with the opening Kotoba ni Sezu Tomo and the ending Monochrome. Its poem header quotes Uryu. The adaptation reorders several events, expands the Kamikake spreading over the Seireitei and Renji recounting his rescue, and flags a coloring error on Sado's Fullbring.
