One Hit Kill, Sui-Feng, Bankai!

Her left arm eaten away by Baraggan's Respira, Sui-Feng orders Omaeda to hold the Espada off alone while she readies her move, warning him to guard his right hand so he can still amputate anything the death-breath touches. Terrified, Omaeda flees and improvises, hurling concrete and glass and even toppling whole buildings onto Baraggan, but every object rots away or fails to slow him, and a botched Kido spell only blows up in his face.

Nearby, Kyoraku spends his duel with Starrk mostly dodging surprise Cero while probing the Espada's odd concern for his Fraccion, Lilynette. Convinced their bond differs from other Espada pairings, he suspects it may be the key to victory. On a rooftop below, Ukitake keeps Lilynette's stolen sword just out of reach while lecturing her on facing reality.

Baraggan grows bored and moves to finish Omaeda with his axe, the Gran Caida, sneering that hiding is pointless because his power grants him mastery over time itself. At that instant Sui-Feng's voice rings out calling for Bankai, and a surge of blue energy stops him short.

Dragging a weapon heavy enough to dent every step, Sui-Feng climbs into view to reveal Jakuho Raikoben, an enormous launcher strapped to her right arm and weighted by a steel sash. She confesses she hoped never to use it, since a weapon this bulky and flashy shames her pride as head of the Onmitsukido, then fires. The rocket streaks into the startled Baraggan and detonates, flames swallowing the sky over the false Karakura Town.

The episode adapts chapters 358 through 360 of the second half of the Fake Karakura Town arc, concluding the clash between Sui-Feng, Omaeda, and Baraggan while carrying on the Kyoraku and Starrk duel. It debuts Sui-Feng's Bankai. A Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book segment shows Kiyone and Sentaro of the Thirteenth Division fretting over Ukitake, with Kiyone reaching for a camera instead of her gear.
