Summary

Coyote Starrk lobs a Cero at Shunsui Kyōraku, who breezily wonders where the dramatic finishing pose is, drawing an irritated rebuke for how much the captain keeps fleeing. Starrk's annoyance curdles into dread, however, when he catches sight of the swelling cloud rising from Hitsugaya's battle. There, the young captain unveils the technique he had named, Hyōten Hyakkasō, and pauses to exchange names properly with Tier Harribel before the sky blackens and snow begins to drift down.

Key Events

Harribel tries to burn the falling snow away with her Hirviendo, but the instant her blade meets it, delicate ice flowers start blossoming across her body. Hitsugaya explains the trap coldly: when all one hundred blossoms have opened, she will die, and she will never get the chance to avenge her fallen subordinates. Her fate is left uncertain as the flowers spread.
