Summary
A wounded Byakuya Kuchiki, having beaten the Reigai copy of Hitsugaya, finds his path blocked by his own doppelganger, and the two draw their blades insisting only one Byakuya can exist. Elsewhere Kenpachi Zaraki, carrying Yachiru Kusajishi, is set upon by a Reigai of Sui-Feng and the Onmitsukido. Captain-Commander Yamamoto contends with Reigai of Ukitake, Shunsui, and Unohana at once, trapping Ryujin Jakka against Ukitake's blade before blasting him back and unleashing his Reiatsu against the persistent clones.
Running along a wall, Hitsugaya spots Hinamori seated on a rooftop, frightened and calling him by her childhood nickname. He moves to keep her safe, but when she draws her sword and stabs him in the stomach, he refuses to fight back, haunted by his past clash during the Aizen affair. A second Hinamori appears, condemning the attack on him, and the two turn on each other. Caught between them and unable to tell which is real, Hitsugaya steps in and is stabbed by both.
