Summary
Karin's certainty rattles Ichigo, who fumbles for a denial just as a monstrous spiritual pressure bears down on everyone in town who can sense it. Slipping out of his body with his Substitute badge, Ichigo leaps into the night. Down in the park crater, Yammy gripes about the thin Reishi of the living world before loosing Gonzui, siphoning the souls of hundreds of nearby people into his mouth and then sneering at their poor flavor. Ulquiorra reminds him they need to kill only one particular person here.
Tatsuki, who somehow survives the attack, catches Yammy's eye, but Ulquiorra dismisses her as worthless.
