Chapter 341 opens the fortieth volume with two of Aizen's cast-off servants creeping toward Orihime. As Ichigo and Ulquiorra trade increasingly readable strikes, Ichigo lands the first cut on the Espada, and Orihime's shield turns aside a killing blow meant for his back.
Loly Aivirrne and Menoly Mallia climb the stairs inside a pillar, Menoly having second thoughts while Loly insists this is their chance to be rid of Orihime for good. Higher up, Ichigo and Ulquiorra keep clashing. Reasoning that the duel is much like facing the Espada's bare hand with a longer reach, Ichigo watches closely, seizes Ulquiorra's sword arm, and rakes a cut across his chest that leaves only a shallow mark. He notes that Ulquiorra's movements have become easier to read, guessing that one of them has drifted closer to the other's nature.
Stung by the remark, Ulquiorra allows that being able to track him at last must feel satisfying, then flickers overhead and cuts down at Ichigo's skull. Ichigo dodges, but the Espada instantly reappears behind him and aims a heavy slash at his back. The strike never lands: Orihime's shield springs up and stops it. As the barrier shatters, both fighters break off, and Ulquiorra glances back at a resolute Orihime.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
