Tier Harribel

Harribel keeps most of her Hollow mask hidden beneath a high-collared Arrancar jacket that zips from the hem upward and conceals her mouth and jaw. The remnants themselves cover her cheeks and spread over her neck and upper chest, her Espada numeral sits near her right breast, and the Hollow hole lies low where a womb would be. She is athletic and full-figured, with sun-darkened skin, green-blue eyes, and short blonde hair left messy except for a trio of braids. Her sleeves envelop her arms and end in black claw-like tips. As a Hollow she looked much as she does now, though bone armor sheathed her body, a slender tail extended from the mask, and ridges lined her legs.

Composure defines Harribel; she speaks little and observes much, weighing a fight before committing to it. She refuses to tolerate disrespect toward those she follows, yet she also carries a vengeful edge, vowing to make Yamamoto answer for killing her subordinates and later turning her blade on Aizen after his betrayal. Her guiding belief is that no world escapes sacrifice, but she will not cause loss without sharing in it, which is why she binds herself to companions rather than hunting alone. That care extends most of all to the Tres Bestias, whom she once rescued and urged to embrace their fear rather than run from it. Even beaten by Yhwach, her first instinct is to tell Nel and the others to flee.

Before Aizen recruited her, Harribel lived as a shark-like Vasto Lorde in Hueco Mundo. She spared and then gathered three female Adjuchas, Apacci, Mila Rose, and Sung-Sun, teaching them that lone females become easy prey and that a band survives where an individual cannot. She refused Baraggan's demand that she join his court, and when a powerful masked Arrancar later ambushed her lair and overwhelmed her, Aizen intervened, killed the attacker, and offered her the strength to shield her comrades. Under his banner she rose to Tres Espada. Deployed against the Gotei 13 in the false Karakura Town, she dueled Hitsugaya at length before Aizen, deeming the Espada expendable, cut her down and left her to fall. She survived, took Hueco Mundo as its ruler, and was eventually defeated by Yhwach and sealed inside Silbern.
