Flush with borrowed power, Giriko marvels that youth seems to surge through him, drawing a jab from Yukio Hans Vorarlberna, who likens him to a washed-up old man. Tsukishima points out that Moe Shishigawara got no share of the spoils and teases Ginjō for leaving him out, but Ginjō refuses, unwilling to imagine the boy's luck-based ability amplified, and tells Tsukishima to finish Moe once the fighting ends.
Giriko goads Ichigo into sampling their new might. Waving off Ikkaku's offer to step in, Ichigo cuts clean through the whole group, then remarks that he held back enough to leave them breathing.
