The Blaster

Yachiru sets her Shikai's two beasts dancing in step with her, a display so strange that Isane cannot match it to any Zanpakuto she knows, since Sanpo Kenju neither becomes a creature nor reshapes the blade. Before she can dwell on it, a bleeding Guenael reappears, mocking Yachiru for assuming she had killed him and explaining that his Vanishing Slider let him lurch backward faster than any dodge. Mid-boast, a huge piece of his shoulder is torn away.

The wound comes from Gremmy Thoumeaux, seated calmly inside the barrier beside a baffled Isane. Gremmy names Guenael a mere product of his own imagination, so effective at erasing himself that even his maker has forgotten him, then wipes him from existence in a spray of blood. He coolly informs Isane that Rose and Kensei are already dead, which she confirms in horror over their bodies.

Yachiru strikes at him and is read with ease; Gremmy seizes her arm and snaps the bones inside, then tells her they have turned to cookies and are bound to break. As her limbs crumple and terror sets in, he proclaims that imagination is the mightiest force there is and that whatever he pictures turns real. At that moment the roof collapses, and Kenpachi Zaraki drops in, grumbling that he tracked Yachiru's failing Reiatsu only to find a strange child instead.

Gremmy Thoumeaux is revealed as the creator of Guenael Lee and obliterates his own creation. Gremmy confirms he has already killed Rose and Kensei, and demonstrates that anything he imagines becomes real by turning Yachiru's bones brittle and shattering them. Kenpachi Zaraki breaks in after sensing his lieutenant's weakening Reiatsu.
