Mayuri Kurotsuchi turns the tables on the corpse-maker Giselle Gewelle, revealing that his own chemistry has quietly stolen her zombies. A baffled Byakuya learns that the reanimated captains now answer to the Twelfth Division rather than the enemy.
Facing the risen Rose and Kensei, Byakuya braces as Hisagi drops down with the stolen sword, only for Kensei to floor the lieutenant, pick up the blade, and offer it back grip-first. Mayuri steps out behind the captain, pleased to try his so-called Corpse Unit, and meets Byakuya's demand for an explanation by claiming he rescued the two men rather than harming them.
A flashback lays out how. Mayuri had laced the Arrancar's fluids with his Postcognition Drug, so when their blood sprayed the fallen captains the compound took hold and cast them into the looping past. After dosing them again and warning Cirucci Sanderwicci against trying the poison on his immune body, he turns to Giselle and reasons that tougher victims need her blood to spread through the whole body rather than a single drop. Drawing on his stored samples from every officer, his drug swaps her blood for a substitute of his own making, converting her thralls into his; he then has the newly loyal Kensei run her through, telling her she has lost.
Back in the present, Byakuya accuses him of gambling with lives, and Mayuri retorts that guarding the Seireitei is a charge that outlasts death, a line the captain waves off as excuse. PePe, still lurking, brands one of the corpses and crows that love outranks reanimation, yet Kensei simply hammers him with a barrage and hurls him through a building, since Mayuri's puppets no longer grasp the notion of love. Vowing revenge, PePe freezes as a bloodied Liltotto Lamperd materializes at his back.
Kensei knocks out Hisagi and returns Byakuya's sword, signaling the corpses are no longer hostile. A flashback reveals Mayuri seized Giselle's zombies by replacing her blood with his own formula, then had Kensei strike her down. PePe's attempt to reclaim a corpse fails, and Liltotto arrives to corner him.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
