Ichibe'e frames the coming defeat as its own kind of peace, while below the Gotei 13 charges its makeshift gateway with raw spirit energy. As the rain pours into the laboratory, Yhwach turns to face the intruders standing over the fallen sovereign.
Ichibe'e Hyosube, resting by himself along the Vestibule Road, tells Ichigo Kurosaki and his companions that their inability to defeat Yhwach is no cause for despair, since that acceptance is what peace truly means, and he suspects Yhwach holds the same belief.
Within the laboratory below, Jushiro Ukitake steps out of the treatment room to report that the wounded have all received their final round of care, crediting Isane Kotetsu and Hanataro Yamada for the work. When a surprised Shinji Hirako asks why an ailing captain was tending others, Ukitake explains that his long sickness has made him more than familiar with healing arts. Kenpachi Zaraki then storms out, demanding word of his missing lieutenant Yachiru, and moves to leave until Urahara pins him with a binding spell. Nanao Ise steps in and reasons that other Shinigami can search far faster than he can, and that his strength is vital to raising the gate, until a grudging Kenpachi concedes the point.
At Urahara's direction, the officers take their places on the central platform and receive orbs to fill with their Reiatsu as he opens the ceiling to the falling rain. High in the sovereign's chamber once more, Yhwach looms over the run-through Soul King and turns to find Ichigo's group before him. Understanding that Ichibe'e sent them, he dismisses Ichigo as an insect fated to be ground beneath destiny and vows to see him laid to rest.
Ichibe'e concedes to Ichigo that Yhwach cannot be defeated. Ukitake reveals he has been well enough to heal the other wounded despite his own condition, and Nanao talks Kenpachi out of abandoning the gambit. The gathered officers begin charging their orbs to power Urahara's gateway to the palace, where Yhwach confronts Ichigo's group.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
