AGAINST THE JUDGEMENT

Inside the palace above, Yhwach's body ruptures and a torrent of darkness pours downward, crashing into the Shakonmaku and seeping into the replaced Seireitei. The dark mass becomes countless eyeball creatures that swallow buildings and Shinigami alike. Suì-Fēng, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Hisagi, and Byakuya throw their released blades against the tide, but the swarm keeps advancing until an overwhelming pressure crushes it flat. Seated in his restraining chair, Sōsuke Aizen has arrived, scolding the defenders for relying on their swords rather than their Reiatsu.

Captain-Commander Shunsui Kyōraku claims responsibility for freeing Aizen, arguing that honor will not save the world and that using evil against evil is not itself evil. Refusing to loosen Aizen's bonds, Shunsui trusts him to act rather than be eaten, and Aizen unleashes a wordless Kurohitsugi that leaves the surrounding district lifeless. Urahara notes the spell's power without an incantation suggests Aizen has grown even stronger inside Muken.

When Aizen prepares to shoot down the Soul King Palace with his Reiatsu, Mayuri Kurotsuchi reveals his restraints throttle that power, and Sternritter NaNaNa Najahkoop paralyzes Aizen by striking the holes in his Reiatsu. Rather than finishing the Shinigami, Bazz-B shoots NaNaNa in the back. He, Liltotto, and Giselle offer their help in exchange for passage to the palace, since they intend to kill Yhwach for abandoning them.

Shunsui rallies the surviving Gotei 13 at the ruins of the research institute, where Mayuri raises a huge platform and Urahara begins constructing a gate to the palace fueled by borrowed Reiatsu and a strange substance Hiyori pours out. Nanao stops Kenpachi from wandering off to search for Yachiru. Elsewhere, Ichigo wakes fully healed by Orihime aboard the Gatonden, thanks Kon for saving him, and is greeted by Grimmjow stepping out of a Garganta as Yhwach declares a new world has begun.

Shunsui releases Aizen from Muken to fight the Wandenreich, provoking outrage among the captains and lieutenants. Aizen annihilates the eyeball swarm with an incantationless Kurohitsugi, showing his growth in confinement. NaNaNa paralyzes Aizen, but Bazz-B, Liltotto, and Giselle betray the Sternritter to ally with the Shinigami. Urahara and Mayuri begin building the gate to the Soul King Palace, and Ichigo awakens healed just as Grimmjow arrives to join him.

This entry adapts scattered pages from Chapters 612 through 626 as part of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. Its opening theme is Kotoba ni Sezu Tomo and its ending is Monochrome. It premiered in Japan on November 2, 2024, and in English on November 30, 2024. The adaptation reworks several manga beats, notably merging Yhwach's canopy with the torrent of the Soul King's power, relocating the gate's construction to an above-ground platform, and reframing Kon's rescue of Ichigo so that Ichigo thanks him rather than reacting in anger.
