Summary

Rin Itoshi charges the center of the pitch toward Oliver Aiku, convinced that clearing this last man will let him erase his past, his relationships, and everything weighing him down, reborn through a single goal. Aiku, tense and drained yet thrilled, notes that Rin has become a completely different player and knows he has to buy time. Realizing he must update his read on this new Rin, Aiku admits the striker is now moving at a level he cannot fully process.

At that moment Ryusei Shido arrives, fired up by Rin's Flow and unwilling to let him hog the spotlight. Aiku welcomes the unexpected help, deciding the shifted fifty-fifty odds are worth gambling his future on, and rushes in to form a double press. Behind them, Yoichi Isagi shadows Rin, shouting at him to feel it and keep his eyes on Aiku. Rin snaps that Isagi should stop hovering and limiting his options, then pushes forward to carve out shooting space. Aiku recognizes Isagi's presence is only feeding Rin's ego and imagination. As Aiku extends to block the deadliest lane, Rin nudges the ball aside with his trademark shot feint.

Aiku had anticipated the fake and springs back to cover the reopened space. Rin unleashes a powerful curling shot from roughly twenty meters that skims past Aiku's boot and bends toward goal. Keeper Gen Fukaku cannot reach it, yet the ball clips the post, stunning Rin, Ego, the crowd, and Aiku alike. The rebound flies loose and Sae Itoshi reacts fastest to claim it, scoffing that Rin is still lukewarm. One extra minute of stoppage time is announced, and Tereasa narrates that it marks the end of an era and the dawn of Japan's new dream.
