Final Match-up is the 146th chapter of Blue Lock. With one minute added, Sae launches a solo counter that carves through Blue Lock, and Rin, still locked in Flow, races back to meet his brother for one last decisive duel.
One minute of extra time is on the clock and the whole stadium hangs on the finish. When it is announced that Sae Itoshi has the ball, Ryusei Shido bolts toward the far goal on a last-ditch sprint, kicking off a counter that throws Blue Lock into disarray. On the bench, Jingo Raichi, Aoshi Tokimitsu, Nijiro Nanase, and Gurimu Igarashi scream for the defense to hold. Yoichi Isagi tries to stop Sae and is dribbled clean past; Shoei Baro is slipped by next; Seishiro Nagi reaches but has the ball flicked over his head. Tabito Karasu shouts for calm and for everyone to track the free U-20 players, since a goal now ends everything.
Amid the chaos Isagi spots Rin Itoshi charging back to intercept his brother, his Flow-state focus fixed on destroying the enemy. Sae is faintly surprised Rin still fights so hard and taunts him: failing to score earlier proves he has hit his ceiling, and had he simply quit football he would never have learned he was not good enough. Rin tunes out the provocations, refusing to be manipulated by Sae's words any longer. He reflects on how Sae, Isagi, and Shido, as brother, partner, and rival, constantly interfere in his life, and admits he loathes being defined as Sae Itoshi's little brother.
Rin resolves to trust his rage and surrender to his destructive urges so he can become his true self, the Egotist Destroyer. He charges, and Sae, still baffled by his relentlessness, braces as the final matchup begins.
Sae seizes possession and starts a counter, once again dribbling through Blue Lock's players. The team scrambles back to defend as a unit while Isagi notices Rin racing in. Rin storms toward Sae for another confrontation, and Sae, puzzled by his persistence, prepares for it. The last one-on-one between the brothers gets underway.
