With the crowd and both benches reacting to the opening goal, Aiku praises the left-footed finish as a fearsome new tool, while Ness cannot grasp how Isagi managed something beyond him only a match earlier. Isagi recounts the work of the previous days.

Five days back, he tracks Kunigami down in the weight room and begs the muscle-brain for help, aware that his lone finishing flaw is a right-leg-only direct shot. He asks how Kunigami turned ambidextrous, knowing it was forced on him to mold him into a copy of Noel Noa. Kunigami snaps back, branding Isagi a clingy stalker, and warns that chasing two-footedness would wreck his stats. The change only took, he explains, because his own muscle and skeletal build could absorb it, whereas Isagi would likely throw off his balance and forfeit his current level. Even so, Isagi trails after him just to watch the training.

In the corridor, Chigiri catches up to Kunigami, glad to finally find him after Kunigami went silent through and after their clash with Manshine City. Kunigami tells him to get lost, but Chigiri presses on, noting how much Kunigami's play and aura have shifted and admitting he has changed too. Bachira barges in treating it like a class reunion, bouncing a ball off Isagi's face, praising the pair's showing against England and Chigiri's goal, then clambering onto Kunigami's back to ask for a game. Chigiri proposes a two-on-two to sharpen his speed and cut-ins. Realizing he never needed to rebuild himself, only to bolt a secondary weapon onto his existing one, Isagi joins in, and Bachira grins that the egoist four are reunited.

In a flashback set five days before the Ubers match, Isagi asks Kunigami to make him ambidextrous, and Kunigami refuses on the grounds it would spoil his stats. Chigiri and Bachira arrive at the Germany wing, and the group agrees to a two-on-two. Isagi explains how he built a left-leg direct shot as a side weapon while preserving his main strength.
