Summary

Ego lectures Anri on evolution, warning that adults who stop learning are weeded out by natural selection. He lays out a theory that people born with rare genetic traits often struggle and are misread, yet those differences can bloom into singular expression of body and mind, and a handful of revolutionary ones reshape the world's standards. Such originators he labels geniuses, but their seeds still need someone to spot, understand, and broadcast them, raising their feasibility until they become new norms. Those interpreters he calls talented learners.

Culture and football both advance this way, he argues: mutant talents such as Baro, Nagi, and Bachira act as singularities, while analysts like Reo, Karasu, and Charles build fresh logic to counter them. Ego tells Isagi the world is not built only for geniuses and that learners share the same stage on their own road to the top.

Key Events

Ego frames geniuses and talented learners as equals who spur one another on. On the restart Noa and Kaiser press forward until Loki darts in to intercept before Noa can receive. Both Isagi and Kaiser silently curse the unfair god at the same moment, and their matching thought leads Isagi to suspect Kaiser could himself be a talented learner rather than a pure genius.
