Overview
Drawn from military personnel and devil hunters, this special unit answered to the veteran hunter Kishibe. Its entire reason for existing was the elimination of Makima, a target so dangerous that conventional force alone stood little chance against her near-limitless protection.
Role
During the Control Devil arc, the squad moved against Makima's residence in the wake of the Gun Devil's destruction. A rocket launcher punched an opening into the building, after which the Saito and Suzuki squads poured in and opened fire on her. On Kishibe's signal, the core members took their own lives to seal a contract with the Hell Devil, dragging Makima down to Hell. The two assault squads that had stormed the building were subsequently wiped out by Denji as he completed his transformation into Chainsaw Man.
Notable Members
Kishibe served as the squad's leader and remains alive. The operation was carried out in waves: the Saito Squad struck first, followed by the Suzuki Squad, both made up of unnamed members who all perished. A final group of six gave up their lives to summon the Hell Devil, whose contract sent Makima to Hell.
