Barf!

Pochita's flying heart lands on the ground before the Aging Devil, who tells the nearby Public Safety personnel to crush it underfoot. Before they can even rise, Denji tugs his ripcord, restores Pochita's body, and lets him tear the Aging Devil apart. Like Pochita, though, they reassemble, thanking him for the sharpest, most intense agony they have ever felt, then transform Pochita into a tree and explain that no normal method can end them.

Denji reveals he devoured every organ of the first tree before shifting to the next. The Public Safety member blocks him, insisting Denji has no right to slay beings who have endured for millennia and reached 'the truth.' Denji ignores this and swings regardless, figuring they would pardon him since he is eating them, which prompts the member to call him a genuine Devil.

Yanking the ripcord again, Denji has Pochita hit the Aging Devil once again, yet they heal from that blow as well. The Aging Devil urges him to simply eat them, since nothing else harms them. With his stomach feeling ready to burst, Denji orders Pochita to throw up any useful Devils that could help them beat their enemy. Tadashi Hasegawa stands among the gathered Public Safety figures.
