Summary

Standing over Hell's bottomless dark, Denji muses aloud about where all the devils have gone. Yoru seizes the lapse, peppering him with bullets and blasting him down into Hell's sea. She demands he yield, but before he can climb out a cloud of locusts swallows her as the Locust Devil makes its entrance.

Denji breaks the surface, joking that without swimming lessons he would be finished, and pulls himself back onto Yoru's platform. She is too buried in the swarm to register his return, and the Locust Devil keeps tearing at her even after losing its head. Denji asks how she likes his plan, only for Asa to turn to him and beg to be rescued. Pochita's instincts surge up, driving Denji to face the Locust Devil and shield Asa. Their collision rips through the Door of Hell, hurling all three back into the human world. Denji cuts the Locust Devil down, though his arm is severed in the exchange.
