Summary

Riding an elevator into the enemy stronghold, Denji and Power fall to bickering after she starts gnawing on a torn-off zombie hand. The doors slide back to reveal a packed mass of undead that has not yet spotted them. Denji urges a quiet approach to keep surprise on their side, but Power instead bellows a challenge and storms in alone. Convinced her partner is admiring the show, she carves through the looming creatures with ease while loudly crowning herself the strongest of all, leaving an exasperated Denji behind.

Key Events

Denji's own elevator climbs higher and opens onto Katana Man, flanked by two Gun-Agents. Asking for a pause, Katana Man presses Denji about killing the Old Man and demands recompense, only for Denji to point out the man had already become a zombie. When Katana Man admits that he too gave his heart to a Devil yet still feels remorse, he names Denji the lone hybrid stripped of conscience and offers death as a kindness. Denji flatly turns him down with a careless refusal. Enraged, Katana Man shifts into his transformed shape, and the pair burst through a wall together, plunging toward the streets with their weapons grinding against each other.
